BIO
Known as the Gothic Celt, Tiffany is a singer/songwriter of Celtic Folk Music with Ethereal and Gothic Rock/Metal twists. Her award-winning songs and stories are inspired by historical and fantasy themes suitable for wanderers and dreamers of the world.
Her interest in music and storytelling started as a small child with the support of her grandparents. Interest in history and mythology also started early in life, as she was the only one in her fifth grade writing class writing about Viking Sea Adventures.
Later on she continued studies in classical piano and voice, continuing throughout high school and appearing in a variety of musical theater and opera productions. Her interest in Celtic music started with getting turned on to the music of Loreena McKennitt and Michael Danna’s The Legend of Dierdre. Finally, it was through the indie film scene that she started performing with rock, metal, and gothic bands, therefore rounding out what would become her own unique sound and brand of music and storytelling.
Tiffany’s music has been called haunting and spellbinding, and her stories a wonderful escape, suspenseful and captivating. The Gothic Celt aims to be a light within a chaotic world, cultivating a sense of adventure and community, whether it’s traveling a forest and happening upon that abandoned castle or cathedral, or gathering around a bonfire for stories and song.
Tiffany also collaborates with a variety of artists in different sub-genres of folk, rock, and metal. She has been featured on Bonfire Night’s album BLOOD AND THUNDER, and also performs with the Celtic/Tavern Music band The Wayward Companions. She and Wayward bandmate, Laura Mason Lockard perform as the harp and voice duo, Celtic Spirit, and she is also a frequent guest vocalist with the Pittsburgh Baroque Orchestra. Tiffany embraces the creativity of storytellers and musicians around the world leading to memorable and extraordinary collaborations.
